Alfie and Billys Cafe reviews...

Popped in to Alfie and Billys while my wife was shoe shopping and was given a lovely warm welcome and had my coffee brought to me. A nice touch! The coffee was sublime. And at £1.70 a bargain for the excellent quality. I did cave in to a cake as well which tasted as good as it looked. It looked homemade, but I didn't ask. The staff are freindly and attentive and this is a lovely little gem of a coffee shop. Will definatly be coming back.

I love the new look Alfie and Billy's. It is much brighter, with modern furniture. The coffee is delicious and inexpensive and the food is tasty and well presented. There isn't a huge amount of choice but what they have is good. The cakes are AMAZING.

Alfie and Billy's Cafe at the top of Wyle Cop is a great place to grab a lunch time sandwich. Perch at the breakfast bar style table in the window for a spot of people watching as you eat. There isn't a huge choice of food but it is made fresh to order and you cannot go wrong if you are looking for a sandwich or a coffee and a slice of cake. I had a wholemeal baguette with chicken and gain mustard. It was served with a leaf salad and tasty dressing. The milkshakes are good and if you are lucky enough to arrive on a day where they have home made Bakewell tart, I can thoroughly recommend a big slice of that. I have to mark it down for being a bit pricey, but it was nice all the same.
