excellent - best espresso in town

I regularly stop off for a Macchiato coffee here, it's the best i've yet had in Shrewsbury, the ice creams are delicious too.

The service is always great and I love the fact we have such an amazing selection of ice cream. The staff take care to make the perfect coffee, not burnt milk or weak coffee!

Once I wanted to open an authentic Italian Cafe, with an espresso machine that belched steam like a scene from 'Brief Encounter' and fun, chatty staff. Unfortunatly someone has beaten me to it. Ok so the espresso machine is quite modern, but the coffee, cake and ice cream is fantastic. They even give you a glass of water with your espresso and serve a serious hot chocolate. Oh for tasty lasagna, fresh fish from the bay of Naples and possibly a Lancia Beta Montecarlo driven by a beautiful Italian.. if it had all these things as well it would be close to perfection!

Italian cafe and ice cream parlour. Quite possibly the best hot chocolate in town. The ice creams are good too.
