So many great improvements love the new lounge bar. Have been going to drapers for almost 11 years but seems better than ever, best ever G&T, great tapas in the bar! great atmosphere! Big French classic influences! Allow time to enjoy dinner full works cost less than £100 for two, went back for Sunday lunch £10 roast seriously good proper cooking, friendly professional staff.

I have been to Drapers many times over last 10 years and things just get better, not sure about previous review is about? new owners?? The Huxley's just celebrated 10 years of trading at the Hall with fabulous new guest rooms and finally refurbished toilets and new lounge bar. The food is consistently outstanding, the restaurant is beautiful and service has improved with a very enthusiastic front of house team lead by Adrian. Keep at it Nigel and team, you deserve success. Good luck with your third Rosette!

Happily Married

We recently had our wedding reception at Drapers Hall and both my wife and I had the most memorable day. The food and service was second to none. The wedding breakfast was faultless and the attention to detail by Nigel and his team was fabulous. All of our guests left the wedding singing the prasies of the venue, the food and the staff - we are still getting numerous comments about the quality of the food and the service. In fact many of our guests, who are seasoned wedding guests, commented it was truly 'the best' wedding they had been too.
We love Drapers Hall and they made our wedding day the best day of our lives as we knew it would be - we will be back for our anniversaries and plenty more meals.

In medieval and Tudor times 'Drapers' were wool and cloth merchants. Today's restaurant is in the Draper's Hall. Perhaps the finest dining in Shrewsbury.
