We had a great lunch at the Mucky Duck last saturday. The new owners are friendly and the chef can cook great pub food. The prices are really reasonable and the food is tasty and plentiful for greedy people like myself. They don't do a childrens menu but my six year old daughter polished off the sausage, chips and peas with no problem. My wife had the steak and ale pie that I had to help her finish as it was so large. I had gammon and pineapple which went down a treat!
A modest selection of cask ales are available too to wash it all down with.
It's not fine dining but you don't want that from a friendly village pub do you? Enjoy the hospitality of the new owners and their local tasty food.
