Panacea is an Indian restaurant offering sit down dining and takeaway food by the River Severn in Shrewsbury.
What do they offer
A comprehensive menu, the food at Panacea could easily be described as refined. The chefs at Panacea Shrewsbury really make the effort to make the food look good, where most Indian restaurants are content to let the flavours hit home. Big white plates are artistically decorated, making the food look even more attractive than it smells. As well as the usual favourites that no Indian restauranteur dares leave off the menu, they include a fair number of more unusual dishes that are well worth a try.
Why do we like them
We tend to get stuck in the same routine when it comes to eating Indian food, eating at the same places that we know and trust. If you do fancy a change and Panacea isn't your regular haunt, we'd certainly recommend you give this place a try. The food is good value, the staff are great and if you are anything like us, you'll certainly be planning a return visit.

There are plenty of cafes to choose from in Shrewsbury, and as coffee fanatics we should have tried more than one during our short stay. However, we enjoyed our lunch in Arthur's so much on the first day that we returned for another on the second.
The coffee and mocha are superb, and the food delicious. Pity we live 180 miles away!

Fantastic Homemade Sausages and Bacon. Roger Gough is possibly the best Butcher in the country at the moment! Cannot recommend this butcher enough!
