I have bought all my beef joints and steak from Phil Perks Butchers for quite a few years and I have never had a bad piece of meat yet. Excellent, friendly service too

The joint of beef and the steaks that I bought at the weekend was superb. I live about 5 miles away but it's well worth the trip

I whole-heartedly recommend him

We have been visiting P..J Perks Butchers every week for the past 6 or 7 weeks... we get all our meat from there, I really enjoy being able to go in, tell Phil that im having a BBQ, or im after meat for dinner, and he will recommend something good.

We have had meat from a couple of places in the Market Hall (I cant remember there name), but I wasn't very impressed. Though every time I get meat from here, its always the best tasting meat you can get!!

It may be out of the main town, but its well worth making a trip up there for the friendly service and superb meat.
