coffee was disgusting, food was tasteless and the staff need some customer service skills and act rather childlike will not be using again

It was my misfortune today, to choose Petit Delice to have lunch with my daughter. We ordered a chicken salad each, waited about 25 minutes, then the "salad" arrived, (the reason for it's late arrival was the till had gone down!)The salad consisted of about two?maybe three iceberg leaves, half a sliced tomato and a mass which I assume was the chicken, tasted of nothing in particular.
On finishing this, I paid a visit to the W.C which was in a poor state, the hand drier didn't work, and it was far from clean.
I live in France and could not quite understand why this establishment has menu's and signs in French, what an insult to France comparing themselves to this country.
I did complain at the time of paying, the "salad" was £5.50, and was met with what can only be described as a gormless stare!!
Needless to say, I will not be going back and would encourage others to try elsewhere.
How very sad for Shrewsbury.
I do hope you publish reviews such as this and not just the positive ones.

We love going to this cafe, the food is always good and the desserts are great.

Part of a nationwide chain of cafes with a French style. The food isn't cheap but if you need a croissant or croc monsieur to set you up for the day this is a possibility.

French themed national chain cafe with outdoor tables in the town square. Now has competition from Starbucks next door.
