The Corbet Arms has been re-opened for four weeks. There's a bar...

We have eaten here several times for lunch, excellent value and recently for an evening meal. We found the staff friendly and the food excellent. One guest said the lamb stew the best he had ever tasted. The duck with orange and cranberry sauce was tender and tasty. The deserts were delicious accompanied with lovely ice cream.Recommended and by the river too.

We have been to Romolos on a number of occasions for the lunch menu, and I can honestly say I cant fault the food. The waiters are ok, but the chef is top drawer. His ravioli is some of the best ive ever had, and i have eaten in some really good restaurants.

dreadful........thats it!

Have never dined here but from what was served to me as a beverage was a total turn off. Rude staff who would rather throw a bottle around than even look at me and my wife. Finally when our drinks arrived I couldn't help but think 'Can motor oil be added to cocktails', not a chance in hell would I return to the tarted up trickery that this waste of a venue is.

This restauarant is literally the worst restaurant i have ever been to. The room was so cold that several people opted to wrap their coats round themselves for warmth. On asking for the heating to be turned up the head waitor told us he was sweating, (which is just what you need over a meal). We were eventually given a menu and still were not offered any drinks. The kitchen is open and our meal was interrupted by the chef screaming at the waiting staff on more than one occasion. The food came relatively promptly however it was of a poor standard. The staff were disorganised and persistently forgot what course we were on. We were even asked if we wanted the dessert menu after having eaten dessert and paid. Overall a waste of money. The best bit about the night was the taxi home!

excellent

After our evening in Romolo I was unimpressed by the average food, unfriendly service and rude staff. We waited upstairs in the cocktail lounge for 20+ minutes before anyone even batted an eyelid. Our food and drinks were mediocre at best. Until they sort them selves out I won't be returning any time soon

Top Notch!!
