Have visited this establishment a number of times as the food is fantastic. Unfortunately we have found the staff to be rather patronising especially the owner. I have also tried to book a room on three occasions only to be told that it isn't possible, I get the impression that it is too much trouble to cook breakfast if only one person is staying.

Visited here last weekend and the food was really tasty and service attentive although overall a little pricey in my opinion. Great decor and would definitely visit again

A fabulous, warm and welcoming restaurant with top quality food! Visited a couple of weeks ago on a wednesday, not expecting much for mid week, but was amazed. The food was fantastic, the value on the early evening was amazing, the wine list was stunning and the service was fast, seamless and friendly! Look forward to returning!

Top food in a classy and relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced comparing it to the poor quality of some similar places in town. Will always return.

A warm welcome awaits all who make their way to the bar at the Saracens. A well-stocked bar (this evening featured Wood’s Air Ambulance Ale) and a comprehensive wine list start the evening well.
The patron is in attendance and explains the provenance of the locally-supplied food. The service is slick and discreet and the food generally of a high quality. Starters featured crab and salmon cocktail in cocktail glasses, whilst the mains included an excellent duck breast. Surprisingly we were unable to order espresso coffee but, nonetheless, an excellent and convivial evening for six for less than £300.
