Ok so I'm a local taxi driver and I've just dropped off a customer right outside the shop. The selection of pastors and rolls drew me in and I couldn't resist the temptation. The smell from inside the shop got my mouth watering. I knew I already wanted their turkey,stuffing and cranberry roll and boy I'm glad I did it tasted delicious, the filling was amazing and the pastry had a wonderful crisp but was still perfectly soft. Mmmm! Might go back for another but will definatley be visiting again soon. The staff are great too.

Sarnies, on the High Street, is a sandwich shop offering a good range of baps, sub rolls, bread and fillings. If the smells wafting from the door don't drag you in, the window filled with pies, pasties and cakes certainly will. The only difficulty is seeing past all the other people hovering outside at lunch time.

Recommending exactly what to eat is difficult, as I have something different every time. The hot specials on the black board at the back are always good. They are usually along the lines of bacon and brie or warm mushroom and pesto. The pasties are light and tasty, the cakes are rich and delicious. Great chocolate brownies! Overall, the portions are good and the prices low. Despite the queue often snaking out of the door, the staff are quick and you'll never have to wait long.

Superb and great value sandwich shop that is giving the well-loved Phillpots a run for it's money. The window full of delicious fresh baked treats will definitely draw you in through the door.
