Discovered this place about six years ago, after touring all the other curry houses in town, have to say the flavours were so good that we have been back every week since. Definatley the best curries Shrewsbury has to offer.

I recently had a meal at the Sheraz Indian Restaurant as part of a large group of people. The menu choice is extensive and well priced. Between us we ordered most things off the menu and I have to say it all looked very good. Presentation was excellent, especially considering how many people they were serving. The food was great value, very tasty and the waiters were happy and helpful. I have to be completely honest and say that some of the food seemed like it had been reheated in a microwave which made the rice a bit dry, but it did not matter, and with so many people to serve at the same time it was understandable and forgivable. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

This was a first visit to Sheraz for us on Sunday evening. Being able to park nearby, just outside Shrewsbury's famous Lion Hotel in Wyle Cop augured well.
We were given a table just inside the door by the window, which was fine because it wasn't too busy, and the service was friendly and efficient. Poppadoms and Cobra beer got our taste buds excited, and we weren't disappointed when my stock favourite, onion bhajee, arrived. Freshly cooked with a crisp salad, it was first class, and then we moved onto the mains. Lamb tikka, chicken jalfrezi , pilau raice saag bhajee and paratha all pleased.
The decorations and furnishing in Sheraz are in a style that was contemporary in about 1980, but it's clean and inviting and we'll be going again. £37.50 for the food including three pints of Cobra.

great place to eat,my friends and i use it often .We go to many place to eat but this is our favourite.Very friendly staff ,very polite.like to chat if you like to.food always very good and plenty of it.make a great irish coffee.they have been here along time, that speaks for it self,try it you wont be disapointed. mavis and friends

Good choice of food, always cooked well, and great service. It's the best curry house in Shrewsbury if you ask me, and I've eaten a lot of curry!
