I have eaten at Curry House in Mardol several times and found that the service and quality of food is excellent. Friendly staff and fast service at all times. I have never been dissapointed with the quality of food or service so far. So make sure all you Curry House staff keep up the good work.

I believe there is a few other restaurants nearby but I found the quality of food poor and ther service slow. So I will stick to Curry House restaurant in Mardol and I strongly recommend those who have not eaten here. Book your seats now as you enjoy the choice of dishes Curry House has to offer its customers. So don't forget to book your seats if you want to have a fantastic meal this Christmas. I would give them a rating of 5 out of 5 for sure.

Wednesday evenings used to be busy in Shrewsbury up till last December, however recently it's much quieter and thus the Curry House in Mardol has started an £8.95 Three course meal deal.

It's simular to the Shalimar's deal, you get a choice of any starter, any of the mains including all but the King Prawn dishes, and any of the rice or nan's off the regular menu.

We had arrived just before a party of twelve and expected a bit of a delay. But the staff accomadated us very well with nice smiles, and gentle politness and our orders came in good time.

The food itself was excellent, Myself starting with the Stuffed peppers with lamb, my guests with Mussels and Bahji starters, all of which we polished off despite not having the biggest of appertites.

It was a much harder choice for mains as there's such a huge choice with myself ordering the Dum Pukt Korai which the menu tantalised me saying it was supreamly hot, but wasn't realy, and the others having the Chicken Sashlick and Chicken Tikka, all with mushroom rice.

The chicken was realy nicely cooked, still moist and nicely marinated, excellent rice and again we all polished the plates.

For these prices you could of expected a lower than average meal, but instead it was top notch, we were all very pleased indeed.

I like to reserve 5 Stars for exceptional quality and service, you would probaly need to be a Michelin Star resturant in good form to get all five, but I'm happy to award them four stars as the staff did an excellent job in rather tough circumstances.
