having been a huge fan of the third place i have gone right off it, the vegie balti i had as a takeaway was frozen mixed veg in a bland sauce very poor, and never again

I have never eaten in the restaurant, but if we order a take away, this is one of our top choices. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty and the service is usually comparably quick, even on weekends.

Never written a review before but i would like to warn people about the horrendous meal we had from the third place. It took 1 hour 50 mins to arrive. There were 3 pieces of chicken in the rogan josh. The nan breads and rice were stone cold. We couldn't differentiate between the rogan josh and the jalfrezi as they were so bland. When i rang to complain they didn't answer the phone. I can safely say we will never be ordering from here again.

We had a takeaway from The Third Place last night and it was very nice. I called in to collect a menu on my way home, and to check that their website was acurate in saying they deliver. They do. The restaurant looked good, and the greeting was very friendly. Ordering by phone was no problem and the food was delivered within 40 minutes on a Friday evening. The menu had all the usual dishes but some nice sounding chef specials. The Mati Chicken was really good. I shall be ordering from them again on the strength of that dish alone! They also added a couple of extra dishes for free which was a nice touch. I imagine The Third Place will now benefit from people coming out of Theatre Severn.
