Food Hygiene Rating Scheme

To help us decide where to eat and buy food, Shropshire Council inspect food businesses in Shropshire and produce food hygiene ratings from 0 to 5, based on factors such as food preparation, storage, cleanliness and facilities.

I'm surprised at the other reviews - I've been here twice recently and been very impressed with the meal I had.

DELICIOUS.I can easily say that Third Place is the best curry house. I am now a regular customer. The chef consistently delivers high quality, fresh and uniquely flavoured tasty food with great service. They have never let me down and continue to deliver vibrant dishes that are delicately flavoured. I have taken a group of friends out to Third Place and everyone was impressed. Dishes ordered included the chicken shatkora (a Bangladeshi speciality which has a citrusy taste), Palok containing paneer, cheese chickpeas and saag combination and Shazlik. Along with the food the restaurant has a modern, clean interior making it a welcoming place to eat. Third place really does have the wow factor.

I have never eaten in the restaurant, but if we order a take away, this is one of our top choices. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty and the service is usually comparably quick, even on weekends.

We had a takeaway from The Third Place last night and it was very nice. I called in to collect a menu on my way home, and to check that their website was acurate in saying they deliver. They do. The restaurant looked good, and the greeting was very friendly. Ordering by phone was no problem and the food was delivered within 40 minutes on a Friday evening. The menu had all the usual dishes but some nice sounding chef specials. The Mati Chicken was really good. I shall be ordering from them again on the strength of that dish alone! They also added a couple of extra dishes for free which was a nice touch. I imagine The Third Place will now benefit from people coming out of Theatre Severn.
