This has to be one of my favourite places to eat in town, look out for the blackboard specials!especially the fish soup is to die for! The prepared take-away service is brilliant too, have used it several times. Staff very helpful, have sat over a glass of bubbly pondering the cookboooks many times!

Definitely want to try the seafood bar with a glass of wine, but so far have only managed the fish counter. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and all the fish is clearly marked in terms of type and catch area (except if you get there too early, then you have to guess what is what).

There was a big note on the chalk board praising Hugh's Fish Fight so I assume they promote sustainability where they can.

Have eaten about a dozen different types of fish from them so far, Gurnard, Mackerel and Rainbow Trout are my current favourites.

Good fresh fish monger who always has something worth buying from the wide range on offer. Can be a bit pricey but I think that's just fish in general these days rather than this business in particular, with ever dwindling fish stocks in our seas it'll probably only get more so too :(

The seafood bar is a very welcome addition, I had a crab sandwich and glass of cava for �5(?), good value and i'd stop off again if I feel a bit peckish in the market hall.
