Carmar is a great place to eat. The staff are very friendly. Food is excellent. All meals, especially breakfasts are very good value. You are made welcome even if only wanting a pot of tea or coffee, but when you see the delicious cakes on offer , you can't resist them. We always eat there when visiting Shrewsbury.

13th Sept 2010 - En route to Ludlow for a few days - passing through Shrewsbury - found Carmar quite by accident.
The Cafe is spotless, the staff are great, service great even though food prep was a little slow, food great, good menu range, reasonable prices.
16th Sept 2010 - Made a point of finding Carmar again on the way back home.
Well done Carmar.
